So imagine for a moment the day comes, you spend all that money on the perfect dress/suit and the photographers, your date is perfect and the weather is beautiful. You start your way down the isle photographers snapping away as you hope they get the perfect shots of you and your guests. You are standing with your soon to be better half at the alter giving your vows you are blissfully happy and expecting that all of this is photographed wonderfully. Everything goes off perfectly..or so you think. You get your photos back and everywhere you look guests are buried in their phones snapping pics instead of doing what they are there to do, celebrate and witness your love. Often you see photos where people were in the way because they wanted to get a shot of the “action” on their own phone. The point here is simple during your ceremony requests that the picture taking be left to the professionals, you can do this with a sign or even a simple requests by the officiant before it all starts. This ensures that the professionals you payed can do their job to the best of their ability without people in the way or people on their phones in every shot. People these days spend all their time heads down in their phones and for 10-30 min it is not so much to ask that they give you their full attention and be in the moment with you.
