A few years ago when drones first came out we toyed with the idea of buying a high quality drone for videos. We thought it would be fun to take pictures and videos of the wedding ceremony and outdoor activities as a service to our brides. Ultimately we decided to wait because at the time drones were fairly loud (for a wedding ceremony anyway), quite expensive, didn’t take very high quality photos and we honestly weren’t very sure if brides would be interested in the idea.

Today there are many drones on the market capable of taking the highest quality video at a fraction of the old price. They are also quieter and easier to use. While they won’t replace the need for a wedding photographer, it could still be fun and refreshing to see your event from an entirely new perspective.
